Commander X16

Hello Everyone,

I purchased the Commander X16 Developer Edition Upgrade chips, but I need help finding documentation on where to install them on the motherboard and if any jumpers need to be altered.

I appreciate any help. The last thing I want to do is damage the chips or other circuit components.  Thanks.

I couldn't find a picture for it but you can't missmatch the chips they have all a diferrent size and it's written on the board

1 x Western Design Center W65C22S6TPG-14: U28 – 65C22 User VIA IC goe's to 65c22 user via
2 x Littelfuse SP720APP: TVS1 & TVS2 – ESD Protection Diode Packages goe"s to the two little socket on the right
3 x Alliance AS6C4008: U4-U6 – 3 x 512KB SRAM ICs 1.5MB High RAM goe"s to the hight ram 512k to 2040k at the bottom

all notchs have to be in the same orientation like the sockets.

take your time, all the pins must be correctly aligned before puching the chip in the socket.

(and yes, as was mentioned, for the chips that are the same size: it doesn't matter the order of which goes into which slot)
