Hello from across the Pacific.

Come in and say hi. Let us know a little about you and where you heard about the Commander X16 or this forum.

Hello from across the Pacific.

Post by GTR3QQ »

My name is Willhelm, and l live in East Asia.
Starting from famicom-clone and then quickly move to Tulalatin-based p3, I find the whole 8 bit micro computing both familiar and estrange. Thanks to 8 bit guy's vids, I get to know and love these soon to be lost art.
I have limited experience in software/hardware designing and chiptune composing.
I hope I can learn more from greater minds in this forum and be helpful and kind to everyone.

Welcome!

while many here are North American based, there seems to be others from Europe, since Commodore had a big following there. East Asia is rather large, perhaps you could tell us what country you're from?

It would be interesting to hear how the X16 compares to the Famicom systems. I never heard of those machines until recently - they didn't seem to be any in Canada (where I live) during the 1980's.
