Hello, 20yr Canadian kid here. I've been following 8-bit Guy for a few years now. He's the one that got me interested in old retro tech. The X16 project is awesome and I'm excited for the first gen to come out, but I can be satisfied with the emulator (which I just finished downloading :] ) for now.
A bit about myself, I enjoy programming stuff. I have made some clones of old games (snake, space invader, brick breaker) in python3 with pygame. Currently I'm trying to learn C++, I find it a lot more interesting personally, and I hope to start making some actually decent projects with it, my current dream is to make a simple, yet most likely super sketch, raycast engine. I'll probably make something like wolfenstein (just bad and spaghetti code). I love games, I'm an avid fan of 4x strategy games, or just strategy in general, Frostpunk, Factorio, civ 4 and stellaris are some I enjoy a lot, but I do play plenty of other genres (Monster hunter world/rise/genu, eve online, Fromsoftware games and plenty more). I also love the shit out of science, I find physics and quantum mechanics the two most interesting things in the universe, I just find them fascinating and beautifully weird. I just think science is beautiful in it's entirety. My username is actually half of Laplace and Maxwell, I find their thought experiments using demons interesting, so much so I took some inspiration from their names. Though, the product is a bit odd, depending how you look at it.
I hope my terrible programming skills can help contribute something that, at least, a couple people may appreciate in some regard.
