Hi, I'm Egon...
...well, actually I'm not. My real name is Helge, my "normal" internet name is EgonOlsen, my Facebook name is Blanka Hohn (which is a play on words that only works in german). I'm a software developer and the creator of the MOSpeed BASIC V2.0 cross compiler that supports the X16 as a target platform: https://github.com/EgonOlsen71/basicv2

Hi, I'm Egon...
I actually thought that Egon, Kjeld and Benny would have had different names in the german-dubbed version of Der Olsenbande
Visit my Github repo

Well, actually uploading it doesn't make much sense, because it's still in active development. I guess that nowadays, quite a lot of the non-trivial projects are hosted on sites like Github and aren't really suitable to be downloaded as a single binary blob from some other site. It might be a good addition to the software library to allow for links to external projects as well.

Unfortunately I can't find a way to do that, but we'll look into it further.

Hi, I'm Egon...
I've been putting GitHub links in the descriptions and just uploading ZIPs of the latest builds. I tried to make it clear in the description that the preferred way to stay up to date was through GitHub, but I do plan on uploading at least every release build.

I think that's a reasonable compromise. I'll also encourage people to tag uploads as #alpha or #beta if they are not finished or partly broken.
Hi, I'm Egon...
Yeah, this should be pretty much like what you would do on your GitHub project's releases tab, a mirror of it, if you will.

Hi, I'm Egon...
Happy to see more people beta testing the site.
I'm a cultural troglodite on the other side of the pond, so the only Egon reference I'm familiar with is accompanied by Ray Stanz and Peter Venkman.
?
Ooh, and we can embed Youtube videos in comments. Snazzy.
