Hey all,
A couple of years ago I got my childhood C64 from '83 up and running again and it rekindled the 8 bit bug. I enjoy disassembling (and actually playing sometimes) old games that were magic to me as a kid. I was quite hooked on Toy Bizarre back then and finally have the knowledge to fix the issue with the game occasionally resetting when pressing the fire button. Does anyone remember this? It was maddening. I have another C64 that I purchased off eBay mainly for a case for the Ultimate 64 but it also works fine and has a working 6581 SID from '82. The Ultimate 64 is pretty awesome. If it ever gets a built in machine code monitor it'll be perfect. I also enjoy fooling around with little 6502 projects. This was accelerated by Ben Eater's 6502 kit which I highly recommend. I'm really looking forward to the release of the Commander X16.
