Chase Vault

As Chase Vault was uploaded prior to the automatic topic creation, I just went ahead and made one the old-fashioned way. Just like how I make games with 6502 Assembly!

Anyway, Beta Version 0.6 is now available, as seen in both the Downloads section here and in my latest YouTube video:

Has anybody else experienced the behavior in this GitHub issue? https://github.com/SlithyMatt/x16-chasevault/issues/12

I have been unable to reproduce it, but I'm curious to see if anybody else has, and if so, under what emulator configuration?

I have not, but I also haven't returned to previous cleared zones very often, if at all.

There's a new release, compatible only with R39 https://github.com/SlithyMatt/x16-chasevault/releases/tag/v0.7b

This will be uploaded to the downloads page once the web emulator is updated. In the mean time, it will work with the R39 x16emu release on your platform of choice, including with an SD card image, in case the hyperload is too fast for you. ?

It is also working with the Box16 emulator, but only with the SD card image, at the time of this writing. Hopefully it will work with the host file system soon, and you can hyperload the whole game immediately, instead of waiting a minute to get through the load screen.
