Commander X16

Introducing my next game for the Commander X16: Cavy's Quest. It is a Sierra-style point and click adventure game using the XCI engine. I have started writing the story and have the first zone all planned out so far, and this sketch of the title screen. Obviously, these aren't final graphics, but placeholders until they are done - by me or someone else! I will be in contact with you and we can discuss what you want to do. I need help with graphics, animation, music, sound effects, and configuring the levels.

I most need help with designing 4bpp (16-color) bitmaps for the levels, and sprites for animation. If you are interested in doing some pixel art, come drop me a line.

I'm sorely tempted Matt.. sadly I fear if I get stuck into this it'll come at the price of less work on my hex game. If only I had more time! ? Keep us posted! 

Thanks, John. This will be a long-term process, probably not being done until well after the the X16 ships, but I hope to have the first point-and-click adventure game that is available for it. If you ever wanted to try making a pixellated guinea pig, I'll be there for it!

It's come to my attention that these Discord links are expiring. So, if you want to join, you should be able to find the server by searching for "Cavy's Quest".

You can create an invite link with an indefinite expiry by clicking the "Invite People" button on your server menu, and then "Edit invite link" on the bottom of the window that opens. Select your options, click "Generate a New Link" and the new link should be good for however long you set it, even "forever" if you set it to never expire.

If you later want to manually expire the link, you can do so from the general server settings, under "Invites", it'll list all the active and valid invite codes. Hover over the invite to show the "X" icon that will invalidate it.
