Hello all,

My name is Frank van den Hoef and I am responsible for the design of the VERA module (the audio, video and storage hardware module), which is part of the Commander X16.

Great stuff, Frank.

I've only been playing around with it for a week or so. Seems to work really well (in the Emulator at least).

Easy to use. ?

Really looking forward to getting my hands on one when they're available for general consumption.

Cheers

Troy

Hi Frank, nice to see a fellow Dutchman involved in this project. Some day I might have some technical questions concerning the FPGA code ?

Hi Frank, Are the VERA board schematics and Verilog code going to be available as open source? Thanks,

Eventually probably yes. But don't expect this until the system has been released and on the market for some while.

That depends on what you'd call "ported". It's already been stated there's a C64 version (for testing) and that there may be an official release later, iirc. I'm not sure about the feasibility for an Atari, depends on whether it has a compatible expansion connector.
