Hi,
I got started in computing almost 40 years ago when I first got a ZX Spectrum, and later moved onto the Commodore Amiga, and eventually the PC. However, after a while, I found that I missed the older machines, and was happily surprised to find a vibrant retro-scene on the internet. Unfortunately, I don't have much in the way of retro-hardware any more, and now only own an N-GO (Spectrum Next clone) and a TheC64 Maxi, so much of my retro stuff has been via the use of emulators.
It was after seeing a video regarding the Commander X16 on @Perifractic's "Retro Recipes" Youtube channel that I found this site, because I was extremely intrigued by a machine that I had never heard about before and wanted to find out more about it. I promptly downloaded the emulator and started trying out the available software, and look forward to checking out the various programming posts and tutorials, having never programmed for the 6502 before.
