Poor souls that were born to early to make it a reality. ?

It was just a few 8-bits with enough 5 volt to make the multimeter swing and 2.54 mm spaced so that it was within human reach. The chips were just enough complicated to do stuff and actually had documentation. And slow enough to make breadboards with long cables work.
