Hi all, 

I had recently gotten hooked on David's 8-bit Guy youtube channel and I found his passion about retro computers infectious!



I hail from California. Background... mostly self taught coding, dabbling with VHDL/Verilog in the FPGA space, and really enjoyed making use of micro controllers for a few years.



Thanks to his youtube channel, I got interested in the 6502/65816 microprocessors and the very straightforward bus employed in the C64/VIC20. The CommanderX16 project and system is exciting to me because it's like watching a computer system being born, almost. :)



I'm currently slowly working my way towards getting a 6502 or 65816 system up and running at home. Though I'm definitely trying to wrap my head around the X16 via the emulator and demos.
