X16 Pro Paint
I am pixelart fan, artist. I started with pixelart when I was 6 years old and my Dad buyed mouse and there was DR.Hallo 2 on 5"25 floppy for His 286/16mhz. After that I moved to NeoPaint. Latter Deluxe Paint on Amiga and now modern Grafx2.
I think Commander X16 got amazing graphics chip with nice modes. We need Deluxe Paint like bitmap editor. So here will be place for it. I will do GUI, ICONS, PALETTES, PDF manual. Need coders, pixelartists to help me with it. This will be place for X16 Paint ideas, brainstorming.

Are you thinking about a pixel paint program in the spirit of the Sprite Editor that's available in the download section? Or more like a full screen bitmap paint tool such as the (rudimentary) Argis paint that's also in the downloads?
Also it would be amazing if somehow the program could use IFF ILBM as bitmap storage format? So we can read/write those Deluxe Paint images from the Amiga era ?
(I don't recall if there is a IFF chunk for images that are not composed of separate bit planes)
edit: on second thought, using IFF is perhaps not the smartest idea for image storage format in the current times... also I suspect we'll likely end up defining our own chunks which kinda defeats the purpose for interoperability... maybe PNGs... (uncompressed? or are we able to do zip compression?)

Exactly like Argis Paint but with more features.

I found this looking around steam for graphics related tools this morning:

It looks to be somewhat like "Deluxe Paint"
