BASIC support for the X16 serial port

Yup, I used the serial card from the photo of the X16 with a Null-Modem cable to my PC... (didn't work)

It would be good if we can use device 2 (RS232) like...

Like the C64 could... but X16 can't? When we would use it more? Ummm.....

We could use the OPEN statement, to alot if we can connect to the serial...
I have a USB to Centronics adapter for my (Non CBM) DOT-MATRIX to my PC...
I dont think it would be a far leap to connect that to the serial of the X16 maybe????

IDK.... I think (Device 2) is a good Idea... For serial.....
maybe its only me.... it is what it is lol....
As was stated above a driver CAN be written to handle new device types, so it's not impossible. Someone has to write the driver first.
