Hello from Minnesota

I got my X16 a couple of weeks ago and decided I better start using it before my wife divorces me for wasting $500....

I figured I will start by joining this forum as I will need help getting started.
A little background about me, I have always had a strong interest in electronics. Back in 2005 I built my own computer, based of the 8085. Yep, well before everybody was doing it on YouTube. It turns out that computers need software to do anything, so, I taught myself assembly programming. I have written assembly code for 8085 and 6502 based systems as well as Arduino. Most recently I wrote an operating system for a single board computer called the MiniMax 8085. I even wrote Conway's Game of Life for it!

As far as my background with computers, I can't remember a time in my life where there wasn't a computer in the house. Staring with my dad's TRS 80 Model 3 to the Vic-20 and later Atari 800, that he got me.

Also, I should say that I have been a fan of the 8 Bit Guy since finding him on YouTube years ago.
