What's the copyright status of the PETSCII character ROM ?

In particular the graphical symbols.

(1) The project has a license from the owner of the legacy Commodore IP

(2) Per the US copyright office, iIn the US, bitmapped fonts cannot by copyrighted. I don't know the rules for other jurisdictions.

Please search the forum before posting more questions and/or suggestions for things that have been discussed, often at great length. This has already been discussed in depth, along with nearly everything else you have posted. Searching the archive and reading up first saves everyone some time having to re-hash topics long since decided.
