Hi!
A bit of introduction: I started with a VIC-20 and learned BASIC on it. Later moved on to a C128, Assembler, Apple II and Pascal...
I'm following the Commander X16 development for quite a while. As my interest in retro computing resparked, the x16emu was the first thing I got running and played around with (as the MEGA65 xemu successfully resisted all my attempts). But a bit later that changed and now I somehow even changed parts of the 45GS02 CPU in the MEGA65... but that's a different story.
Well, I am still following the Commander X16 and I really would like to see a FPGA implementation, because from my experience with the MEGA65 on a NexysA7 board I think that getting the machine out to the people in whatever way possible is a good thing to get folks setup for supporting the machine and creating software for it. And it is not as complicated as sending DIY kits.
Looking forward to more great news about the Commander X16!
Cheers,
Oliver
