Expansion slots
Hello, I was wondering what the expansion slot architecture would be like. I have an idea for a card and would like to start development, but all I know is that we have a 65o2 and not much about access to the bus for expansion. Will the expansion ports be using a PIA/VIA chip or will it be another mechanism?

And now that I see how cool embedding forum links look, here's another. There will be expansion card prototyping boards available, too.

The connectors you see in the home page image are based on PCI but not compatible with existing PCI cards for safety reasons. The connection format is proprietary. What kind f connectors will be used? NuBus, PCI, etc....?

Not as of Proto 3. I think they changed to a 60 position slot and rearranged many of the signals and added quite a few extra ground signals.

Yeah, I'm struggling to find more up-to-date information. If someone comes across it, could they link it here?

Kevin peeled a response I wrote in one of the announcement threads out into a new thread and then responded to it. Let me look for that as its probably the most up to date albeit not necessarily complete. I had squinted at a photo he put up and was reading off the silk screen and it seems like he was saying the silk screen was not necessarily updated or accurate to the names on the 65C02, at least that was my take away. Its not my wheel house so I didn't follow up as I didn't want to drag any more mud over the discussion, but let me see if I can find it.
EDITED: OK 'most up to date' is probably bad phrasing since the X16 / X8 pivot has come up, so I will just say I think its the last best info I saw on the X16 side....

OK, here's the thread he peeled off and responded to:
And here's the original thread with the photo I squinted at to try and see what the signals were:
