Hi from Brisbane, Australia.

Come in and say hi. Let us know a little about you and where you heard about the Commander X16 or this forum.

Hi, I'm John.

I'm an old school geek (from back before it was cool) and country boy.

I hand-reared a calf and sold it to buy a C64 with a tape drive.

I am currently learning assembly on the X16 emulator.

Me too! Nice to meet you John. I grew up in rural northeast Texas. Little country school (I graduated from a class of 16 students). I had to take vocational agriculture just to have enough credits to graduate high school. My project was rabbits, not a calf, and I never made enough money at it to buy anything. My first "contract" for programming was to write a little livestock show management application, so we could type all the information for all the entries into a Commodore PET and it would do the heavy lifting of sorting and printing forms for all the judges and other officials.

Welcome!
