TESLA into K.I.T.T.
This is probably my favorite of his videos I've seen.

Yes, this video is very cool! Thank you, @Perifractic!
Especially I'm amazed they manufacture such replacement wheel in such good quality.
I was always wondered is such replacements legal. I mean, if cop stops me and sees that I have this instead of stock wheel. Or I could install bicycle wheel. Or just some random crap. Should it be properly certified?

I believe this is actually optional equipment on new Tesla cars. So this would actually be a factory part, not a Chinesium knock-off.

And I have to say - the yoke and the scanner are what really sell it for me. I mean, the phone thing is fun, but I'd end up just using the phone to listen to music, so KITT would not stay on my dashboard very long.
Having said that... Clearly, this is a cry for Tesla to release the "Model K", a version of their sport sedan that re-creates the Knight Industries 2000 interior...

In the US, after-market steering wheels are perfectly legal, and a popular customization. Only the factory-installed steering wheel is required to have an airbag.

Yeah, I loved that video. Like many of us I assume, I was a huge Knight Rider fan, so I really enjoyed it, along with the episode visiting old filming locations. Having the message from William Daniels on there was such a great touch! ?
