These have a couple issues but are still a Work in Progress. Video's for the X16 Played using Direct SD-Card SPI access for about 4 times the transfer bandwidth that is possible via the file system. These ONLY WORK ON HARDWARE. and WORK ON r48 ROM ONLY I am NOT originally responsible for the SPI Car...

It was done on C64's and C128's. So it's possible.

I wouldn't expect it to handle a whole bunch of simultaneous users though.
